STD.png

Dry Dock Standard, ASCE/COPRI Standard 77-22, is intended to address a deficiency in commercial shipyards, specifically safety certification of dry docking facilities. The US Navy has a standard for certifying facilities that drydock its ships. In addition, the US Coast Guard has a procedure for certifying facilities that drydock its ships. However, there has been no commercial standard for certifying dry docks. Many dry dock owners and operators obtain "commercial certifications" from third-party engineers, yet these certifications are not performed to a standard and are typically focused on the structural capacity.

Networking

There will be areas for displays and tables for handouts/brochures. Vendors, consultants, and representatives are encouraged to bring and distribute information at the conference.
